Interviews
- Interview of Smokejumper David "Skinny" Beals, recorded at the the Redmond Air Center Mess Hall on 1 July 1981. The interview begins with second-year Redmond jumper Charlie Bragdon; and freelance photographer Bruce Van Voorhis. They later are joined by a third interviewer, second-year Redmond jumper Nick Sundt. The interview originally was recorded on 30 minute cassette tapes. These were converted to a set of 5 separate audio files and then merged into a single 2.5 hour file (there are short pauses separating the five original audio segments):
- Real Media streaming audio: Listen to the interview
- MP3 files
(listen to them online or download them)
